Dr Sarah Garner completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours and a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery at Monash University. After graduating in 2004 she undertook her Microbiology and Infectious Diseases training at Monash Health, Dorevitch Pathology and Austin Health. Dr Garner received her Fellowships from the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians at the beginning of 2015. She currently works as a Medical Microbiologist for Dorevitch, as well as having a public clinical appointment for the West Gippsland Healthcare Group, working in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine.
