Biography

In 2007, Dr Rosanne Devadas completed her undergraduate medical degree in New Zealand from the University of Otago School of Medicine, studying in both Dunedin and Wellington. From there she spent an intern year in Wellington, before migrating and settling in Australia in 2009. After completing a year as resident medical officer at Eastern Health, she started her fellowship training with the RCPA in Anatomical Pathology at Box Hill Hospital, which she completed at Melbourne Pathology, gaining exposure in both the public hospital and private laboratory setting. 

After obtaining fellowship, she spent three years employed as a staff specialist in Tasmania, at Launceston General Hospital, providing pathology services in a broad range of disciplines for the hospital patients of Northern Tasmania as well as participating in the forensic autopsy service for the state coroners. 

Since joining DOR in 2019, she is developing further special interest in breast/gynaecology pathology and dermatopathology. She enjoys teaching and supporting the growth of registrars in training
