Biography

Dr Kim Cheah was born and raised in regional Western Australia and completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 2007 and worked at Fremantle Hospital prior to commencing his training in Anatomical Pathology in WA where he gained experience in both public tertiary and specialist hospitals as well as in several private laboratories.

 He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2015 and worked as a Consultant Anatomical Pathologist in Perth. In 2018 he joined Dorevitch Pathology as the Director of Anatomical Pathology Albury. He is a generalist Anatomical Pathologist with areas of interest including GIT, GUT, breast, molecular, healthcare management, digital Pathology and the integration of new technologies, in particular for the advancement of sustainable regional workflow practices.  He is currently the RCPA Victorian State Council Chair.
