Biography

Dr Donna Lenghaus completed her graduate medical degree in 2009 from Flinders University and completed her Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2019. She joined Dorevitch Pathology in 2020 and is currently the Training and Education Coordinator with responsibility for Dorevitch registrars and their training while with Dorevitch Pathology in Victoria’s RCPA training program.

Before undertaking her MBBS in Australia, Dr Lenghaus had obtained a BS in Engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Clemson University. Dr Lenghaus then worked for Sanaria, a malaria vaccine development company, before moving to Australia with her husband and cats, Watson and Crick. Dr Lenghaus has also lectured in pathology as part of the Monash University and the University of Melbourne medical programs. She now has four cats, Crick, Franklin, Valentina, and Ptolemy.

Special Interests

  • Dr Lenghaus has a strong interest in the sub-specialities of breast, cytology, gynecology, and perinatal pathology as well as medical teaching.
