Dr Swe Htet graduated from the University of Medicine in Mandalay, Myanmar in 2002. In his final year he received the award for distinction in Child Health by the Myanmar Paediatric Society. After migrating to Australia in 2008, Dr Htet, worked for a variety of clinics including, Peninsula Health, Austin Health and Northern Health. He trained as a clinical haematologist at Northern Health and University Geelong Hospitals, and as a laboratory haematologist at Healthscope Pathology. Dr Htet worked for a year in the Royal Darwin Hospital before moving to Ballarat to work in the Integrated Cancer Centre and St John of God Hospital. Dr Htet joined Dorevitch Pathology in 2017.
