Dr Stefan Wawryk graduated MBBS from Melbourne University in 1984 and completed his pathology training in 1997 at St. Vincent’s and the Royal Women’s Hospitals, Melbourne. Prior to taking up pathology he completed a PhD in the field of Immunopathology at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. Dr Wawryk joined Gippsland Pathology Service as a general histopathologist in 1997 before travelling overseas to Hammersmith Hospital, London in 2003-04, where he worked as a perinatal pathologist. Dr Wawryk returned to join Dorevitch Pathology in 2005.
