Dr Sachira Gamage graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Monash University in 2010 and began her medical career at Eastern Health, including Box Hill Hospital.

She trained in Anatomical Pathology at Dorevitch Pathology, Frankston Hospital and Heidelberg, and St. John of God Pathology in Geelong. She has been working with Dorevitch Pathology since 2015.

She was admitted to Fellowship of The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2018 and has since enjoyed working as a Consultant Anatomical Pathologist at Dorevitch Pathology in Frankston Hospital. Dr Gamage has broad interests in histopathology and cytopathology. Her special interests include pathology of the gynaecological tract, gastrointestinal tract, skin, head and neck, and soft tissues.
