Dr Kyra Chua is a Clinical Microbiologist and Infectious Diseases Physician. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne. Dr Chua was awarded her PhD in Staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis in 2013 from Monash University.

She has presented at both national and international conferences and is an author of a number of peer reviewed journal articles.

She has a special interest in staphylococcal infections, drug resistance and antibiotic allergy.
