Dr Jenny Siaw Jin Wong

Biography

Dr Jenny Wong graduated from University of Otago in 1998 with MbChB. She obtained her Diploma in Child Health as well as a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before undergoing Medical Microbiology training at the Canterbury Health Laboratories (Christchurch). Soon after, Dr Wong worked as Senior Microbiology and Infection Prevention registrar at the Royal Melboume Hospital. After obtaining fellowship with Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) in 2011, Dr Wong worked as sessional Medical Microbiologist at the Royal Melboume Hospital and the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. Based primarily at the Western Health Footscray laboratory, Dr Wong is a member of the American Society of Microbiology, Australian Society for Antimicrobials and Australian Society for Microbiology.
