Dr Chris Dow graduated from Monash University Medical School with honours, during which time he obtained a BMedSci at Monash University. He gained his FRCPA in Anatomical Pathology and Cytopathology in 1993 at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, with prior registrar training at the Austin and Box Hill Hospitals. Dr Dow’s experience includes the breadth of oncological and non-neoplastic pathology within the teaching hospital setting. He has co-authored many journal publications, principally in the field of gastrointestinal pathology. Dr Dow joined Dorevitch Pathology in 2011 at the Western Health laboratory after an extended period as a public hospital pathologist at the Royal Melbourne and Western Hospitals; with a concurrent academic appointment at the University of Melbourne.
