A/Prof Sharon Wallace is a graduate of the University of Melbourne medical school. After three years of working in clinical medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, she commenced training in Anatomical Pathology at the Alfred Hospital, followed by the Repatriation Hospital, Heidelberg and the Austin Hospital. She gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 1993. Prior to joining Dorevitch Pathology in early 2018, she has practised in Ballarat for over 20 years.

A/Prof Wallace enjoys all aspects of diagnostic histopathology, with particular interest in gastrointestinal and breast pathology, dermatopathology and uropathology. She also enjoys the provision of services in a regional setting, and the associated close interaction with clinical colleagues.
