Dr Matthew Facey

Biography

Dr Matthew Facey completed his medical training (MBBS with honours) at Monash University in 2008 and began training in anatomical pathology in 2010. Dr Facey trained initially in Ballarat and then spent three years training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. He achieved fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2015 and started working in Ballarat as a consultant anatomical pathologist before moving to Dorevitch Pathology in late 2017. Passionate about teaching anatomical pathology trainees, Dr Facey also has a keen interest in head and neck (ENT) pathology.
