COVID-19 Patient Information

If your GP has requested Coronavirus testing, please wear a surgical mask and proceed to one of our dedicated COVID-19 collection centres.

If you have received a referral from your doctor via email and do not have the ability to print prior to attending a collection centre. Please forward the referral to requestform@dorevitch.com.au and let your our collection team member know when you arrive for your testing.

This is for both coronavirus and general pathology testing that has been arranged via a telehealth appointment.

As more countries, airlines, and cruise lines require a negative COVID-19 PCR test result as a pre-requisite for boarding and entry, Dorevitch Pathology is able to facilitate this for passengers who require a pre-departure COVID-19 test.

Passengers will be provided with a PDF copy of their results via email to use as evidence for travel.

Please visit our dedicated website to order and pay for your test prior to attending a dedicated Coronavirus collection centre.

If you have not received your COVID-19 results after 72 hours.

Please contact our Client Care team on 03 9244 0444 – option 1 then option 2.

Important note regarding the COVID-19 vaccination status of our people

As part of a leading healthcare company, Dorevitch Pathology recognises that we have a duty of care to protect both the public and our people, particularly vulnerable people, those at higher risk of more serious illness or who are unable to be vaccinated themselves.

To help keep our people, patients and communities safe, in addition to adhering to relevant public health orders, our parent company Healius has introduced a mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy across its business, including Dorevitch Pathology. This policy covers all our people working for Dorevitch Pathology.

Our vaccination policy is in addition to a number of other COVID-19 safety measures we have put in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of our people and patients, including the use of personal protective equipment, such as masks and gowns, and enhanced cleaning of our facilities
