Dr. Tony Roberts

Dr. Tony Roberts is the Senior Pathologist in our Ballarat Laboratory which provides a large range of services to a large regional public hospital including anatomical pathology, cytopathology, post mortem services including coronial work, biochemistry, haematology and microbiology. Tony graduated in London in 1974 and completed his pathology training in Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and the QEII Medical Centre in Western Australia. Tony was a consultant histopathologist at Newcastle Hosp (UK) and SHLS Perth, and Director at Ballarat Base Hospital Pathology.

Tony joined Dorevitch Pathology in 1985 as a specialist Histopathologist and Cytopathologist. Tony's areas of special interest include breast pathology & hereditary breast cancer, fine needle aspirations, coronial & hospital post mortems, registrar training and Continuing Medical Education.
