Dr. Abe Dorevitch founded Dorevitch Pathology in 1970. Today he is involved in diagnostic histopathology, consulting and teaching within the practice. Abe graduated from Melbourne University in 1952, qualified and practiced as a general physician for several years before moving to full time pathology, at first as a general pathologist.

Abe's area of special interest is dermatopathology and for many years has specialised and taught in this area.
