Dr. Gnani Sri Balasubramaniam migrated to Australia in 1984, but prior to that was a Consultant Pathologist and Associate Professor of Pathology in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Gnani is a Specialist Histopathologist and joined Dorevitch Pathology in 2001. She has previously been a lecturer in Pathology at the University of Melbourne, Senior Specialist Pathologist at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and the Program Pathologist for St. Vincent's Breast Screen.

Gnani has a special interest in breast and lung pathology.
