Dr. Jill Pollard is the Director of the Dorevitch Pathology Frankston Laboratory and is responsible for all medical aspects of the laboratory and Histopathology and Cytopathology reporting. Jill graduated as a Pharmacist from the Victorian College of Pharmacy in 1965, completed Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 1972 and completed her Pathology training at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre in Perth, obtaining her Fellowship in 1979.

Jill worked for the State Health Laboratories in Perth and the Bunbury Regional Laboratory before joining Western Diagnostic Pathology in Western Australia in 1986, as a partner, and later became Head of Histopathology/Cytopathology. Jill joined Dorevitch Pathology in 1997 and her areas of special interest include fine needle aspiration cytology and breast and thyroid disease.
