Dr. Robyn Laurie joined Dorevitch Pathology in 1998 as a Registrar and is now a Consultant Anatomical Pathologist. For two years, she was Pathologist-in-Charge at the Moreland Laboratory. Although keen to maintain expertise in varied areas of histopathology, Robyn has acquired a great deal of experience in the reporting of endoscopic gasto-intestinal biopsies, being the designated Pathologist for several Gastro-enterologists and General Surgeons in Melbourne. She attended the 16th Annual Anatomic Pathology Course (an intensive, 10 hours per day, 7-day long, hands-on course) run by the Armed Foreces Institute of Pathology in Bethesda, Maryland USA, in March, 2006 as an expression of her committment to Continuing Professional Development.
